We look forward to welcoming your children to Promised Land Adventures Vacation Bible School at Cornerstone!
We invite your children to come explore the amazing itinerary God has planned for them through traveling to past and present-day Israel. Children will embark on an imaginary plane ride each day to visit some of the ancient sites of the Promised Land. By memorizing the Romans Road Scriptures, your children will learn more about how the disciples of Jesus Christ walked. They will meet some real-live disciples of Jesus today and listen to some inspiring testimonies about walking out the works God has planned for us in advance. So have your children grab their boarding passes and get ready for some fun songs, motivational outdoor games, team-building water play, and hands-on crafts that will leave your Promised Land Adventurers with a hunger for more of God’s Holy Word!
In order to be prepared for adventure in the sun, please dress your Promised Land Adventurers for outdoor water play and bring a water bottle; it is not necessary to bring food because refreshing, nutritious snacks will be provided. Sunscreen and sun protection gear are highly recommended. In addition, please read the following to be best prepared for your child’s day-camp experience:
Schedule
VBS will be held Monday, August 1st, through Friday, August 5th, 2022.
- 8:45 a.m. Drop-off and parent sign-in begins
- 9:00 a.m. Worship rally
- 9:30 a.m. Classroom lesson and craft
- 10:40 a.m. Snack provided by Cornerstone
- 11:00 a.m. Outdoor recreation activities (including water play)
- 12:00 p.m. Class dismissed; parents pick up their Adventurers
On Friday, August 5th from 11:15 a.m. to noon, there will be an opportunity for parents to watch the children perform their memorized bible verse through song and dance. In addition, parents are invited to a complimentary, catered lunch from noon to 1 pm that day.
Participants and Registration
Vacation Bible School Promised Land Adventures curriculum is targeted to children ages 4 through 12. Classes are organized as follows: pre-K/Kindergarten, 1st/2nd grades, 3rd/4th grades, and 5th/6th grades. Please register using the registration link and provide details regarding your child’s special needs, allergies, or any concerns you may have. Alternatively, you may pick up a paper Registration Form from the Cornerstone office each weekday (except Tuesdays) from 10 AM to 3 PM. Paper copies of the Registration Form will also be available at the Registration Desk each day of Vacation Bible School August 1st through 5th; we accept same-day registrations.
Wellness Policy
If your child is unwell, please keep them home. Your child will be sent home if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Fever
- Cough
- Headache
- Runny nose
- Skin rash or infection
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Conjunctivitis (pink eye)

Safety Policy
Children must be dropped off and picked up by an approved adult guardian listed on the Registration Form. The parent or guardian must escort the child to/from the registration table to sign in and sign out when dropping off or picking up children. Name tags will be issued to the children upon arrival, any allergies will be noted on the child’s name tag. Our safety team is certified in Child CPR and First Aid. All VBS staff are background-checked.

VBS is free but we encourage giving and have made it easy to do so; simply click the Donate tab on our website or have a volunteer direct you to the offering box at Cornerstone.
